& for all experiences mediated by our partners, which are offered through our website at www.jyllandsakvariet.dk.

Provider is hereafter named as ”Jyllandsakvariet / we”.

Sales and delivery

When purchasing experiences at www.jyllandsakvariet.dk, you confirm that you are 18 years or older.

Order confirmation/experience ticket is always sent to the supplied e-mail address.

Responsibility for the ticket passes to you as a consumer at the time you receive the ticket by e-mail, and you should therefore check as soon as possible whether the content of the e-mail and the ticket correspond with what you expected.

Once you have paid for an experience, the experience ticket is always sent to the specified email address. If you do not receive an e-mail, you should first check whether our e-mail has ended up in your folder for unwanted e-mails or promotions. If it is not there, you can contact us directly and get help.

If you have not received the order confirmation within 1 hour, and it is also not to be found in the folder for unwanted e-mails, you must contact us to confirm that your order has been completed.

When you book, please provide relevant contact information so that we can contact you in the event of changes or cancellations. We are not responsible for incorrectly provided contact information.

The purchase is only binding for both parties once we have registered payment. You can pay for your experiences with Dankort, eDankort, Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB Cards, American Express, China Union Pay (CUP) and PayPal. Incomplete or declined payments cannot be considered a booking or purchase.

Prices and fees

All prices listed on www.jyllandsakvariet.dk are stated in DKK and include VAT. Excluded are experiences which, based on their content and nature, are exempt from VAT, cf. the rules of the VAT Act.

We reserve the right for price and printing errors on our website, social media, newsletters and other e-mails, and reserve the right to cancel the order if there is a significant and/or obvious error.

The customer is not charged any additional payment fees in connection with the payment method.

If nothing else is stated, the price of the experience is stated per person.

Gift cards and discount codes

Our gift card is an amount gift card that can be used as a means of payment.

Our gift cards cannot be combined and must therefore be used individually. Please also note that discount codes cannot be used when purchasing gift cards. We reserve the right to cancel the order if this is not complied with.

Personal discount codes may only be used by the person to whom the code is issued. We reserve the right to cancel both orders and discount codes if we discover fraud or attempted fraud. Discount codes are perceived as 'personal' if they have been issued to a specific person or several people in an organisation, e.g. customers of a specific holiday home bureau.

Cancellation and right of withdrawal

If we cancel:

If an experience for which you have bought a ticket has to be cancelled, you can demand a refund of the purchase amount.

Only we can decide that an experience must be cancelled.

An experience is only considered cancelled if the experience cannot be completed. Changes in repertoire, moving to a different time, change in location and the like are not considered cancellations.

We reserve the right to cancel an experience if there are not enough registered guests. We also reserve the right to combine two similar experiences if both do not have a sufficient number of participants individually.

Many of our experiences are dependent on conditions that cannot be controlled, such as the weather, which is why we reserve the right to cancel tours for this and other safety reasons. We are only responsible for refunding the payment for the experience and can not be held responsible to cover other purchases that you have made in connection with the experience, e.g. accommodation. We cannot be held responsible for an amount greater than the value of the experience.

If we have to cancel, you will receive an email stating the reason. If you do not contact us on the basis of this email, we will try to contact you in another way, but please note that this requires you to provide other contact information than just your email address.

If you choose to cancel:

You can cancel your ticket up to 48 hours (2 days) before the start of the experience.

To cancel your ticket, you must contact us by email, telephone or at our physical location. It is your responsibility that we receive the notification of the cancellation in a timely manner. Attempted calls or visits outside of our opening hours as well as e-mails sent to other or invalid e-mail addresses are not our responsibility.

After the 48-hour period, we reserve the right to reject a request for cancellation cf. the generally applicable law on the right of withdrawal, ”Lov om visse forbrugeraftaler § 18 stk. 2 nr. 12” ("Act on certain consumer agreements § 18 subsection 2 No. 12”).

With less than 48 hours to the beginning of the experience, the ticket cannot be refunded.

If something unforeseeable has occurred immediately before or on the day of the experience (e.g. illness), please contact us so we know that you will not be participating anyway. You will find the contact information in the booking confirmation. Alternatively, you are generally welcome to give your ticket to the other side.

Generally, we are happy to try to sell your ticket to an other side. If successful, we can make an exception to the 48-hour rule.

General obligations of the customer

It is your responsibility to arrive well in advance for the tour start. On arrival at the experience, you must ensure that you can document your booking via your ticket or booking confirmation.

You must comply with the applicable rules of order and behave in such a way that neither other guests, staff nor others feel disturbed. In serious cases, bad behaviour may lead to expulsion without being entitled to receive any form of refund. In such situations, you cannot make claims against us.

On board our safari boats, it is supremely our skippers who has the command. For the safety of everyone on board, it is therefore necessary that you do and behave as they ask you to.

Our staff will demonstrate how to treat our equipment to ensure it does not break. If you do damage our equipment by treating it in a way that staff have told you not to, we can hold you responsible for replacing it.

Complaints and liability

Any form of complaint must be addressed directly to the provider. This concerns complaints regarding the event, any losses, damages and liability in general.

According to current legislation, you must advertise "within a reasonable time" after you have discovered the lack in the experience. This means that you must advertise immediately after the end of the experience and preferably on the spot.

You are solely responsible for the items you may bring on our tours. If, for example, electronic equipment breaks due to moisture on a boat trip, we are not responsible for replacing it.

The provider is not responsible for errors and omissions in the tour description, other practical matters and for sold-out events. Conditions and any dispute that may arise in relation thereto are subject to Danish law.

Any questions that have not been answered in the terms and conditions or tour description can answered by Jyllandsakvariet if sent via e-mail to info@jyllandsakvariet.dk or by phone +45 9783 2808 before purchase.
