Dressed in waders we go oyster searching in the delicate larder of the Limfjord.
Hear about the special life of the Limfjord’s oyster and where the best locations are around the western part of the Limfjord.
You learn how to catch them, how they are opened, and how you can prepare them.
After the search for oysters we taste them uncooked, cook som of them on the barbecue, and drink a glass of sparkling wine.

Now also with Danish whisky. Now you can try the oysters with an amazing, Danish-produced whisky. We are lucky to cooperate with the enthusiastic people, who are behind Stauning Whisky. Therefore, you can now taste, how the golden drops gives a completely new and different dimension of flavour to the delicate oysters. Already now, you can try it for yourself on our oyster safaris.

• 2-3 hours of oyster hunting and preparing

• Renting a pair of waders

• A bucket to carry your oysters (you may keep the bucket)
• Prepare your oysters on a charcoal barbecue
• You may bring oysters home

Practical information

Duration: 3 hours
Clothing: Clothes according to the weather and an extra pair of socks and trousers in case you get water into your waders.

Season: The oyster season starts in September and ends at the end of April or beginning of May, dependent on the spring weather
